ESSAY

   The poem “ Sad little houses " that written by Amparo Asuncion. This poem has lot of depth meaning especially when it comes socio political. In the first stanza of the poem, the line " the holes in their roofs the cracks in their walls, vainly they try to hide" this line of the poem simply symbolize or actually you imagine how the life of being poor.

    This poem is all about poverty, for me. Being poor is the majority life of our society. Especially in Philippines. This poem says how hard of being poor. No food, no money and not have a good shelter. For me, being poor was really hard because I am also have a simple life like them. I knew how hard to manage everything especially the everyday budgeting.

    At last, "Sad little houses" poem simply explain how hard of being poor people. so for this essay, for me, I would like to consider addressing for not be able to resolve this issue in decades.
